Ever feel like you're just spinning your wheels with your marketing efforts, wondering why nothing's improving? You're definitely not the only one.
In today’s episode, we’re not just talking tactics—we’re diving deep into something that can shift your marketing results: building habits of success. I’ll walk you through how to set realistic goals, develop a mindset geared for success, and the critical habit of regularly tweaking and refining your strategies.
Cultivating a Winning Culture in Marketing
Creating a culture of winning starts with setting achievable goals. It's about pulling your targets close enough so that you can hit them consistently, which builds momentum and keeps morale high. Instead of aiming for huge, audacious goals that might set you up for disappointment, focus on smaller, attainable targets that will lead to consistent wins.
In my own experience, setting close targets and celebrating small victories has helped maintain momentum. For instance, one of our clients started with the modest goal of generating 150 leads per month through Facebook ads. By consistently reviewing and optimizing these campaigns, we not only met but exceeded that target, eventually reaching 350 leads per month. This success was a direct result of forming the habit of regular assessment and adjustment.
Mastering the Art of Marketing Adjustments
Consistently reviewing and adjusting your marketing campaigns is crucial for improvement and success. Make it a habit to dive into your data at set intervals—whether daily, weekly, or monthly—depending on your campaign scale. By doing so, you can identify patterns, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and adjust your strategy based on the story your data is telling you.
Staying committed to learning and adapting is equally important. The digital marketing landscape is constantly evolving, and it's crucial to stay ahead of the curve. Educate yourself and your team about the latest trends, tools, and best practices by attending webinars, reading industry blogs, and engaging with thought leaders.
Setting Achievable Goals for Real Growth
Defining what success looks like in your marketing is crucial. Instead of setting vague goals like "increase sales," set specific, measurable targets such as "increase sales by 10% over the next quarter." Breaking down large goals into smaller, actionable steps makes them more manageable and less daunting.
Celebrate those small victories along the way, as they build confidence within your team and help maintain engagement. Each small success strengthens your ability to tackle larger challenges when they inevitably arise in your business.
Essential Tools and Strategies for Habitual Success
To build these habits, I recommend using tools like Asana for task management and project management. Asana can help you keep track of your marketing activities, set reminders for regular tasks, and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks. Establishing a routine for daily or weekly activities, such as reviewing ad performance on Mondays and dedicating Fridays to content planning and strategy sessions, can help maintain consistency in your marketing efforts.
Additionally, creating checklists for your marketing activities can help ensure that all critical tasks are consistently addressed. This will help maintain a high level of quality and effectiveness in your campaigns.
Conclusion
Success is a habit. By setting achievable targets, celebrating small wins, and maintaining a consistent routine, you will see significant improvements in your marketing efforts. Start today by setting one small, achievable target for your next Facebook ad campaign.

I joined because I've seen their processes and loved her other programs, and in talking to her, I feel so much confidence around their processes and it gave me hope!
I highly recommend them to other entrepreneurs.
Michelle came to us super frustrated with her lack of results with a "big name" agency. She had dreamed of working with them, but they just didn't deliver on their promises. After a year of losing revenue with failed ad campaigns, Michelle decided to work with Jodi again.
Within 12 days of taking over the account, the ROAS turned positive and the account was able to be scaled beautifully and profitably.
Suzanne was introduced to Jodi through an industry friend and marketer who knew Jodi could help Suzanne with her Facebook Ads. Before working with Jodi, Suzanne had made exactly ZERO sales from Facebook Ads. That all changed with Jodi's strategic advice and approach, allowing Suzanne to feel confident about her offers and funnels again.
